Job Description 

LuminUltra currently has an opportunity for a Product Assembler to join our dynamic team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This is an exciting opportunity within an innovative and growing organization.

As part of the manufacturing team, the Product Assembler will be responsible for preparing components, building sub-assemblies, and assembling manufactured product. This role will also entail complete testing, quality monitoring, and packaging of assembled products. This role will be critical in ensuring that product assembly operates smoothly and effectively, supporting the goals and strategic objectives of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly dependable individual. In this role, the Product Assembler will have key responsibilities, such as:

  • Assembly of a manufactured product, following detailed instructions and specifications.
  • Prepare components and build sub-assemblies.
  • Quality monitoring and measuring during assembly.
  • Complete testing, final assembly, and packaging.
  • Operate and maintain unique assembly equipment and jigs.
  • Label printing and printer maintenance.
  • Maintain database of production and quality assurance records.
  • Troubleshoot and test returned goods.
  • Manage inventory of components.
  • Participate in the LuminUltra’s Quality Management System.
  • Adherence to internal and external standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and participate in problem solving.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Proven mechanical skill and knowledge.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Can work independently with high attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to accuracy.
